The Property
Location! Location! Location! Our place is in the heart of Playa Guiones, just steps from the beach. Six private bungalows tucked into lush tropical gardens, centered around an outdoor pool. Wifi is accessible across the entire property and a nearby rancho provides a welcome spot to hang and relax. Stroll to the beach, grab a coffee or coconut, explore local shops, head out for dinner, and surf the day away, all without needing a car. We also have on site a surf school with rentals, and a restaurant, both offering all-inclusive packages.

Bungalow #6 comes with a full kitchen, TV, air conditioning and sleeps up to four across three beds, including bunk beds. The kitchen has a full fridge, freezer, dishes, silverware, cooking gear (pots, pans, etc.), gas stove, oven, blender, coffeemaker, and other essentials.
Our Story
Rick’s Place is named after Rick Walker, a California surfer who started Corky Carroll’s Surf School in 1996 in Huntington Beach. In 1998 he began organizing surf trips for the school’s customers to Playa Guiones in Nosara and fell in love with the spot. The next year 1999 he opened Costa Rica’s first surf school and all inclusive resort on this property, where countless travelers learned to surf and help build a thriving surf community. Today Rick shares this slice of paradise with short and long-term rentals. If you need anything during your stay, Rick’s on-site old buddy Jeff is always available to help.
